Privacy notice

• ·Account: email, name, hashed password (or Google identity), verification state.
• ·Interviews: live audio, optional camera video, transcript stored in Cloud SQL in Singapore, scenario, session timing, scores and anti-cheat signals for job-application interviews. A recording is stored only if that capability is explicitly enabled.
• ·Applications: CV, profile, answers and optional demographic responses for fairness analysis.

• ✓Live interview processing supports feedback and scoring. If recording storage is enabled in a future interview path, authorized VCareer staff may access practice recordings and the relevant recruiter may review job-application recordings and transcripts for hiring.
• ✓External services help run interviews, transcribe and generate feedback, send email, measure product use and handle errors or bug reports.

External services

OpenAI, Google Gemini API, LiveKit Cloud, VALSEA, Speechmatics, Cartesia, Resend, Cursor SDK, PostHog, Sentry, Discord and GitHub. Google Cloud, Cloudflare R2 and Langfuse also process or store data in parts of our service. Which services receive your data depends on the feature you use.

The production application and interview transcripts run on Google Cloud in Singapore. Live interview egress is currently off, so recordings are not currently stored. If recording storage is enabled, Google Cloud Storage may be used; Cloudflare R2 is legacy storage. PostHog is US-hosted. Some external services may process data in other countries. Their account-specific locations, agreements and retention settings are still being verified; we cannot promise that interview data stays within APAC or a fixed deletion time.

Your choices and rights

You can grant or withdraw consent for live voice and video processing in Privacy settings. Withdrawal blocks new processing and new recruiter evidence links; if recording storage is enabled, links issued earlier may remain usable until they expire and withdrawal does not itself erase an existing file. To request access, correction or deletion of personal data, contact [email protected]. We review requests under applicable law and will tell you the outcome and timing.
